Behind an impressive start by Eliecer Cervantes, Alaska beat Denver, 3-0. Filiberto Ciriaco, credited with the save, is now 1 for 3 in save opportunities. The win for the Kodiaks lifted their record to 33-30.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Kodiaks had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when designated hitter Adriel Madera hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Ringo Pineiro and made the score 1-0, Kodiaks.
