The Chicago Phantoms got a good effort from starter Juzo Matsumoto in defeating the Vancouver Wolves at Fox-Chong Park. The final score was 4-1. The save was credited to Danny Galaviz, his 2nd. With the win, Chicago has a record of 32-29. Vancouver falls to 26-36.

The Phantoms got a big at-bat from left fielder Trevor Hutchinson. For the game, Hutchinson went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Chicago a 2-0 lead.
