Despite a great performance by Las Vegas designated hitter Jacob Testaverde, the San Antonio Angels defeated the Aces by the score of 7-6 in 10 innings at Western Coliseum. Testaverde was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs. San Antonio reliever Kevin Solano picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jason Mouland was saddled with the loss. The third-place Angels have won 4 in a row.

Sergio Folha was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for San Antonio. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jason Mouland. It was his 28th RBI of the season.
