Loss to Friars Extends Vancouver Losing Streak
Lyalya Markosiants was a vital contributor to the 4-2 San Francisco victory over Vancouver. The Friars catcher threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. Manny Arango was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 5 save opportunities. Vancouver is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 9 in a row.

San Francisco took a 3-2 lead on Antonio Fiss's 4th triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Fiss hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Vancouver pitcher Jon Guerra visibly frustrated.
