Twins Rally to Win
|
Cincinnati parlayed a decent outing from starter Josh Adamczyk into a solid win over the Kansas City Athletics. The final score was 3-2. The win was credited to Brad Jenkins in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Marcos Jurado took the loss. Kimiya Kinoshita recorded the save, his 1st.
Cincinnati took a 3-2 lead on Joey Keesee's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Keesee hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Kansas City pitcher Marcos Jurado visibly frustrated.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Kansas City manager Joe Monagle.
Cincinnati is second in the Eastern Conference Rex Rawnsley Division with a record of 26-32.
