7-2 Loss Extends San Francisco Skid
|
A good performance from first baseman Scott Flynn helped the Las Vegas Aces defeat the San Francisco Friars, 7-2. Flynn was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Aces. Carl Rodda went 5.2 innings for Las Vegas to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 1 run. He scattered 4 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 3. His record improves to 5-3. Las Vegas has now won 4 straight.
Flynn had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third to put Las Vegas in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly off San Francisco pitcher Armando Mata.
