Angels, Zayas Pin Bad Loss on Wolves
The San Antonio Angels thumped the Vancouver Wolves, 10-2, at Tesoro Stadium. Danny Zayas was a big reason his team got the win. Zayas hit 3 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 6. Arthur Gordon went 7.2 innings for San Antonio to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs. He scattered 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. His record improves to 3-6. Despite the win, the Angels have a lousy 17-42 record.

Early in the game, left fielder Leandro Cid had a 2-run home run for San Antonio. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Angels on top, 2-0.
