Vancouver starter Wade Belk put the Houston offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his slider in leading the Wolves to a 6-0 win. The Wolves saw their record improve to 26-34.

The Aquas had trouble solving Belk, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 6 innings.

"Wade was throwing free and easy," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen.
