The Portland Dragons racked up a win at Seaward Stadium, bumping off the San Diego Destroyers, 5-2. Wil Campos, who started for Portland, pitched effectively for his team. Justin Kurth notched his 5th save of the season. San Diego has now lost 5 consecutive games.

Brick Dickerson had a big 2-run triple for the Dragons in the top of the sixth inning. With Portland leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Bryant Basile and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragons ahead, 4-0.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Dickerson.
