Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Tucson Toros got the win.

Tucson registered a win at Minneapolis Grounds by beating the Minneapolis Vikings, 4-3. Pitcher Taxi Sabala was one reason why the Toros triumphed. Don Young picked up the save for Tucson, his 2nd of the year.

Robby Martinez came through with a big-time hit for Tucson. The first baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan, "let me know."

With the win, Tucson elevates its record to 3-4.
