New York Wins at Home to Take 4-2 Lead in LC
The New York Titans got a strong performance from pitcher Nick Tamulevich, who stymied the Tucson offense en route to a 3-0 win in Game 6 of the League Championship. The Toros could never get a bead on the left-handed Tamulevich, who threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The Titans now hold a 4-2 advantage in the best-of-9 series.

Tamulevich was in the zone all game. He frustrated Tucson hitters while giving the Titans 6.1 innings of quality work. Tamulevich threw 97 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 8 punchouts.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Tamulevich told the New York Citizen.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Aetna Stadium in Tucson.
