Dragons Win to Extend Series Lead to 4-2
Jelle Jamin pitched a gem to help the Portland Dragons escape with a tight 2-0 victory over the Buffalo Rangers in a low-scoring League Championship contest today. The left-handed Jamin threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball in the win, just enough for the Dragons on a day when their offense dried up. Portland now leads the best-of-9 series 4-2.

The Rangers had trouble solving Jamin, who surrendered no runs on 4 hits over 9 innings.

"We had a good game plan," Jamin said, "and we were able to execute it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Portland Park in Portland.
