Cyclones Clip Harfangs, 1-0, in CC Contest
|
The Miami Cyclones and the Montreal Harfangs will take the Conference Championship to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Cyclones shut out the Harfangs, 1-0, at Mount Royal Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Miami right-hander Roberto Davila did his part. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball.
Miami starter Roberto Davila was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"Teams don't get here by being incompetent, so I really wasn't expecting this," Davila said. "I just kept throwing and they kept missing."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Kroger Stadium in Miami.
