Harfangs Clip Titans, 5-4, in CC Contest
New York second baseman Carlos Guadamuz pounded Montreal pitchers at Mount Royal Park, but it was not enough to keep the Titans from losing in a walk-off. The Harfangs fell, 5-4, in Game 6 of the Conference Championship. Guadamuz slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, even though the Titans fell into a 3-3 tie in the best-of-7 series.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Montreal left fielder Gus Vicario, facing Matt Pontius, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Harfangs the 5-4 win.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Vicario said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Polo Grounds II in New York.
