5-2 Harfangs Win Evens Series With Cyclones
|
The Montreal Harfangs relied on the hitting of catcher Alrigo Dini to get by the Miami Cyclones, 5-2, in Game 2 of the Conference Championship. For the game, Dini went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.
Guo-feng Lei, the Montreal first baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to make the score 2-0, Harfangs. For the game, Lei was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Montreal manager Brendan Henry told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mount Royal Park in Montreal.
