Garcia Blasts Titans, Harfangs Take Game 5, 7-4
The Montreal Harfangs have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading New York Titans, winning, 7-4, at Polo Grounds II. Harfangs right fielder Ray Garcia was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win cuts the deficit facing the Harfangs to 3-2 in the best-of-7 Conference Championship.

In the top of the first, Garcia pounced on a 1-2 splitter from Luis Erazo and hit a 3-run home run. It put Montreal on top, 3-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Garcia said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mount Royal Park in Montreal.
