The Montreal Harfangs started the Conference Championship in style, downing the visiting Baltimore Kings at Mount Royal Park by a score of 10-5 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Harfangs designated hitter Paul Pagac went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI.

Pagac had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Harfangs went on to win.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Pagac.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mount Royal Park in Montreal.
