3-1 Loss to Aces Extends Vancouver Losing Streak
|
The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Vancouver Wolves, 3-1, at Western Coliseum. Las Vegas shortstop Ian Paszek had a superb performance. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Rafael Salabarria was the winner. He's now 4-4. The loser was 28-year old right-handed pitcher Junichiro Kitajima. The save went to Freddie Fel, his 4th this season.
Early in the game, Paszek had a 3-run home run for Las Vegas. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Aces on top, 3-0.
Paszek called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
Vancouver has now lost 7 in a row.
