In a crucial game, the Brooklyn Browns put on their best show, beating the Buffalo Rangers by a final score of 4-2 today. Mike Trice threw 8.0 innings allowing 4 runs. Brooklyn and Buffalo are now tied at 2 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.
The Browns had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Brooklyn, with one out. Buffalo, with a runner on 2nd, was mounting a threat. Joel Steadman dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 curveball, he lined out.
