League Championship Game 1 Victory for Falcon and Minneapolis

Leave it to the veteran.
The Minneapolis Vikings got a great start from 35-year-old left-hander Vismay Falcon, as Minneapolis won the contest, 4-2, at Minneapolis Grounds. Falcon threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs in the win, which allowed the Minneapolis to grab a 1-0 lead in the best-of-9 series.
Leonilde Tigre dealt the Harfangs a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 1st and Minneapolis leading 3-2, Tigre, who finished 3rd in the WC in batting average with .311 in 2077, hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring double.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Minneapolis Grounds in Minneapolis.
