Harfangs Advance to Conference Championship
|
The Montreal Harfangs and New York Titans held nothing back in an entertaining Divisional Series that went the distance.
In the end, it will be Montreal advancing to the Conference Championship, after a 7-5 triumph in the final game at Polo Grounds II, to wrap up the series 4-3.
The Harfangs players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Titans.
Ray Garcia was named series MVP for Montreal. For the series, Garcia hit .333 with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Montreal Harfangs will play against the Miami Cyclones in the next round. Miami won their series against the Buffalo Rangers 4 games to 2. The Conference Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
