Montreal Win Brings Series to 3-3
New York designated hitter Steve Czerw pounded Montreal Harfangs pitchers at Polo Grounds II, but it was not enough to keep the Titans from falling, 8-5, in Game 6 of the Divisional Series. Czerw was 3-5 with 2 home runs, though he couldn't prevent the Titans from slipping into a 3-3 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Junpei Fujiwara? The Montreal left fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Harfangs on top, 3-1. For the game, Fujiwara had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We lost," New York manager Nate Beckman said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Polo Grounds II in New York.
