Home Loss Shrinks Titans Series Lead to 3-2
Already down in the Divisional Series, the Brooklyn Browns put on their best show, beating the New York Titans by a final score of 9-8 today. Melvin Gutierrez was special. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Brooklyn now trails New York 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

Helping the Brooklyn cause was Claire Wagemaker-Pell. In the top of the second, the top prospect had a run-scoring walk to make the score 2-0, Browns.

"We lost," New York manager Nate Beckman said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Brown Town in New York.
