Nofziger, Avispas Wallop Kings in Game 1 of DS

The Santiago Avispas started the Divisional Series in style, downing the visiting Baltimore Kings at Estadio Guillermón Moncada by a score of 7-2 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Avispas second baseman Brandon Nofziger went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Mike Santoli helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Avispas.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Santoli.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Guillermón Moncada in Santiago de Cuba.
