Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Davila and Miami
|
The Divisional Series got off to a quiet start, with the host Miami Cyclones taking a low-scoring, 2-0 win over the Buffalo Rangers. Miami right-hander Roberto Davila was marvelous at Kroger Stadium. The Cyclones now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Davila tossed 100 pitches over 7 innings to clinch the win for the Cyclones. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit, while racking up 12 strikeouts in the game.
"Roberto was lights-out," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Kroger Stadium in Miami.
