Toros Win, Move to Within 1 Game of League Championship
The Tucson Toros are one game away from a sweep of the Las Vegas Aces after a road win at Western Coliseum, 6-4. Toros right-hander B.J. Terriquez had a strong outing. He threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. Tucson now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Conference Championship.

Tucson won the game in part because of Geri Rengifo. The right fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Toros ahead, 3-0. For the game, Rengifo had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Rengifo, "one at-bat at a time."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Western Coliseum in Las Vegas.
