Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Vazquez and Tucson
The Divisional Series got off to a quiet start, with the host Tucson Toros taking a low-scoring, 2-0 win over the Alaska Kodiaks. Tucson right-hander Dunieski Vazquez was marvelous at Aetna Stadium. The Toros now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Vazquez, who was born in Havana, Cuba, threw 84 pitches over 6 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Dunieski made his pitches," said Tucson manager Rick Barnes.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Aetna Stadium in Tucson.
