Vikings Move on to Conference Championship
|
The Minneapolis Vikings are one step closer to winning a League Championship, and the season came to a close for the Houston Aquas.
Minneapolis won the Divisional Series 4-2, with a 8-2 victory in the deciding game at Tesoro Stadium today.
Minneapolis right fielder Leonilde Tigre was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .435 with a .517 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 9 RBI and scored 3 runs.
"I just hope I can keep it up in the Conference Championship," he said.
The Minneapolis Vikings don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Alaska Kodiaks - Kansas City Athletics series. Kansas City leads the series 3 games to 2. The Conference Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
