Host Aquas Drop Pivotal Game 5, Now Trail Series 3-2
|
Minneapolis Vikings third baseman Javy Trinidad was the difference-maker at Tesoro Stadium, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Divisional Series. The Vikings took the 8-6 win over the Houston Aquas to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Clearwater, Florida native Javy Trinidad had a clutch at-bat in the top of the ninth for the Vikings. With Minneapolis trailing 6-5, he hit a 3-run home run.
"We don't have much margin for error now," Aquas manager Brandon Coroian said. "We need to figure out the problem and fix it, immediately."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tesoro Stadium in Houston.
