Los Angeles Win Evens Series at 2
The Los Angeles Stars knotted up the Divisional Series at Western Coliseum, thanks in large part to starter Rin Sakai. Sakai quieted the Las Vegas Aces, enabling Los Angeles to grab the 5-0 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Sakai gave Los Angeles a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-2 left-hander permitted no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.

"My gosh almighty, Rin was tremendous," said Los Angeles manager Pat Kaers.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Stars Ballpark in Los Angeles.
