Los Angeles Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in DS
Riding the 4-hit performance of left fielder Bobby Badeaux, the Los Angeles Stars stopped the visiting Denver Glaciers, 17-1, in Game 3 of the Divisional Series today. Badeaux went 4-5 with 3 doubles and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3 for the Stars, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

The fans who came to support the Stars were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Stars Ballpark.

"We haven't forgotten how long this series might be, but 2-1 is a heck of a lot better than 1-2," Badeaux said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mountain Dew Park in Denver.
