Lorenzo Flores put on a hitting clinic as the Salt Lake Stingers dumped the Glendale Bruisers, 7-6, at Salt Lake City Field.

The Salt Lake left fielder made Glendale defenders earn their pay, lashing Glendale pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Flores said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Lorenzo Flores singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Alex Toala in the 9th.
