The Seattle Arrows scooped up a win at Power Ballpark, dumping the Alaska Kodiaks, 8-1. Jared Bruner was essential to his team's success. The last-place Arrows improved to 24-30.
Tim Thaxton, who is tied for 6th in the WC in triples with 3, came through for Seattle with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the first. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 3 runs batted in.
