Boston Greens starter Elmo Fasanaro pitched effectively against the Santiago Avispas at Arrington Park. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Boston pitcher Rafael Morales got the win. He's now 1-1. Ricky Czaikowski was tagged with the loss. The Greens raised their record to 21-32.

The decisive blow was delivered by Oscar Lizardi in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 36-year old right-handed pitcher Ricky Czaikowski to win the game for Boston. The home crowd went nuts.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Lizardi.
