A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Minneapolis Vikings and St. Louis Gaedels.

The Minneapolis Vikings locked up a win at Minneapolis Grounds, knocking off the St. Louis Gaedels, 9-4. On the mound for Minneapolis was right-hander Richard Samayoa. He played a major role in the triumph. The victory gives Minneapolis a record of 27-26.

Tohru Asano had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second for Minneapolis. With the bases loaded and the Vikings leading 1-0, he got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.
