The Denver Glaciers dealt the San Antonio Angels a 5-3 loss at Tesoro Stadium. Edgar Albuja, who is tied for 2nd in the WC in runs scored with 38, was the star on offense. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 4 and driving in 2. Victor Garza nailed down his 4th save. Denver has now won 5 straight.

Denver used a well-timed hit by Brian Wooten to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Glaciers ahead, 4-3. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"This team is real focused right now," said Denver manager Todd Bleess.
