Bizarro Helps Phantoms Run Win Streak to 5
The home crowd had a good time watching the Portland Dragons and Chicago Phantoms get after it.

Ramão Bizarro made an impact in the 7-4 Chicago win over Portland. Bizarro, who is tied for 3rd in the WC in triples with 4, went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The winning pitcher was John Liberty. His record now stands at 8-3. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Phantoms.

Bizarro had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count splitter from Bill Snelgrove, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Phantoms a 5-3 lead. It was the 14th double of the year for Bizarro.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Bizarro.
