The Las Vegas Aces took Alaska pitcher Travis Sasson's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Western Coliseum. The final score had Las Vegas getting past the Kodiaks, 5-4. Sasson went 6 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 6. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Alaska.

Las Vegas got a knockout punch from Vicente Ramos. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian. "It's usually not just one thing."
