Wolves Topple Arrows with Late Rally
Seattle got a terrific performance from pitcher Huggy Bruce, but it wasn't enough to beat the Vancouver Wolves. Vancouver won the Fox-Chong Park contest, 7-2. Bruce threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. The Wolves are now 22-31.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Dave Castanon came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Seattle pitcher Garrett Gutierrez, he hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Vancouver on top, 3-2.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Castanon.
