Houston starter Ricky Zika kept the Portland offense in check, while his team rolled to a win, 11-1. Antonio Equihua got credit for the win, improving to 5-1. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 5 innings. The win gives Houston a season record of 34-18.

The Dragons had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Aquas going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the slugging first baseman Frank Lung came to the plate. Lung hit a 3-run home run on a 1-1 slider from Portland hurler Taxi Sabala. It was Lung's 16th home run of the year.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Zika.
