Buffalo Grabs 3-1 Road Win
|
The Buffalo Rangers picked up a win at Arrington Park, knocking off the Boston Greens, 3-1. Starting pitcher B.J. Baker played a key role in the triumph. The Rangers lead the Eastern Conference Bill Oates Division by 9½ games.
Matty Hrinko hit a run-scoring triple off Alfredo Manduley in the top of the seventh, which put the Rangers in front, 2-1. In addition to the triple, Hrinko had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"Enjoyed this one," Hrinko told the Buffalo Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
