Kodiaks Lose By a Run at San Antonio
San Antonio first baseman Sergio Folha contributed significantly to his team's 6-5 win over the Alaska Kodiaks. Folha, who finished 3rd in the EC in home runs with 50 in 2072, went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Angels. Arthur Gordon, the winner, improved to 1-0. He held the Kodiaks to 3 runs on 4 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 4. Alaska, with the loss, is 3-3.

In the bottom of the seventh, San Antonio second baseman Al Anzaldua had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and one out, Anzaldua stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 6-3, San Antonio. For the game, he was 1 for 4.
