Browns Take Nail-Biter Over Greens
The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

The Brooklyn Browns racked up a win at Brown Town, bumping off the Boston Greens, 5-4, in 11 innings. R.J. Mendenhall, who started for Brooklyn, pitched effectively for his team. The third-place Browns go to 84-78.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 11th, former first round draft pick Raymilson Bayam had a chance to be the hero. Boston pitcher Jorge Zamora wanted to foil that plan. But with no outs, Bayam drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Browns had themselves a thrilling win.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Mendenhall.
