No one was more impactful than Jose Gonzales in an extra-inning, 8-6 San Diego win over Phoenix. Gonzales, who is tied for 7th in the WC with a .905 OPS, was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Reliever Julio Olivo picked up the win. His record improves to 3-6. Nick Crosier took the loss. San Diego is now 78-84, while Phoenix is 90-72.

San Diego took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 6-6, when Jordan Tarango hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Destroyers in front, 7-6.
