The inspired effort of Los Angeles right fielder Cody McLaughlin was not enough to prevent a loss, 11-8, to the Seattle Arrows. McLaughlin was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winner in relief was Jared Bruner. He is now 7-9. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings.
