Glaciers Pull Out Late-Game Win, 7-6
Glaciers right fielder Ryan McCray left his mark on his team's 7-6 win over the Portland Dragons. McCray, who is a two-time Gold Glove Award winner, was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for Denver in the contest. The slumping Dragons have dropped 6 in a row.

Denver used a timely hit from Perry Sparks to get the win. The center fielder stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Glaciers ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter. "But we decided not to take it."
