Felipe Diaz was outstanding against Portland. The right-hander had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Arrows 5-2 win. Diaz picked up the win for Seattle, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 7-9. Jason Petruska earned his 4th save in 6 chances.

Seattle took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Danny Nieto hit a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Arrows.
