Seattle Drops Another One, 7-3
|
Los Angeles Stars starter Jimmy Oyola found his groove in his team's 7-3 win over the Seattle Arrows. The losses continue to mount for Seattle, which has now dropped 10 in a row.
Eloy Laca, who finished 2nd in the WC in on-base percentage with .404 last year, contributed to the Los Angeles win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
