Titans Stumble, Lose to Twins
Benefiting from Joey Keesee's productive game, the Cincinnati Twins downed the New York Titans, 9-1. Keesee went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Twins. Craig Kruppenbacher, who is tied for 9th in the EC in wins with 13, was the winner. He's now 13-6. The loser was Luis Erazo. The Twins now own a record of 73-88.

With Cincinnati leading 4-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Keesee hit a fastball from Pierre Prent for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 8-1.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Nate Beckman.
