Due in large part to catcher Shane Ausmus, the Miami Cyclones sunk the Santiago Avispas, 7-0. Ausmus went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Bobby Edwards picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-7. He struck out 7 in 7 innings. The triumph puts Miami at 94-66 for the season.
