The San Diego Destroyers weathered an outstanding game by Denver catcher Adam Wysocki to topple the Glaciers, 9-7. Wysocki was 2-2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. Trevor Laverick, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2078 draft, was the winner. He's now 11-8. The loser was Edwin Munoz. The loss makes Denver 83-77.

Early in the game, first baseman Brian Wooten had a 2-run home run for San Diego. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Destroyers on top, 2-0.

"I like winning," Wooten told the San Diego News. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
