The Alaska Kodiaks downed the Portland Dragons, 10-2, at Tundradome. The Kodiaks were led by Yozo Mori. Mori slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. John Rochford got the win, improving to 5-6. He worked 8.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 0. Alaska is second in the Western Conference Eric Wise Division with a record of 89-71.

With Alaska leading 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Mori hit a fastball from Carlos Rodriguez for a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Kodiaks ahead, 4-1.

"Not much went right for us," Portland manager Greg Carpenter said, when asked afterward about the game.
