Greens Collect 6-4 Win Over Twins
The Boston Greens took Beau Eschmann's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Cincinnati Grounds. The final score had Boston getting past the Twins, 6-4, in 10 innings. Eschmann over 5.1 innings allowed 1 run on 6 hits, while striking out 9. The win went to Michiomi Kikuchi in relief, making him now 2-6. Walter ten Hoeve took the loss for Cincinnati. The save was credited to Bob Mullins, his 1st.

Alan Manthei came through with a big-time hit for Boston. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Exciting game to play in," said Manthei. "Getting the win makes it even better."
