The San Francisco Friars picked up a win at Fox-Chong Park, knocking off the Vancouver Wolves, 7-6. Starting pitcher Alex Mijangos was a big reason why. The winner was Roger Calzada in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Jesus Ortiz took the loss. With the win, San Francisco pushed its record to 88-72.

D.J. Trigg went 1-4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for San Francisco. The 2078 WC batting champion had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Jose Uresti. It was his 141st hit of the season.
