The Senators grabbed a win, 3-1, at AT&T Park, overcoming a fine effort from Baltimore pitcher John Kenison. Kenison went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The last-place Senators now sit at 67-92.
Matthew Bankson had a direct impact on the outcome. Bankson contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Washington up, 3-1.
