The Buffalo Rangers scored a tight, 7-6 win versus the Philadelphia Spectres at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Buffalo pitcher B.J. Baker held his own in the contest. Baker got the win, improving to 12-15. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The save went to Hector Venni, his 7th this season.
Josh Main, the 24th overall pick in the 2075 draft, helped out the Buffalo cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Baker.
The loss makes Philadelphia 68-91.
