Denver Glaciers starter James L'Hommedieu hurled his team past the Seattle Arrows, 4-1. L'Hommedieu got the win, improving to 12-10. He gave up 7 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Andy Doncaster wrapped it up, recording his 8th save.

Emilio Oregon had a big 2-run home run for the Glaciers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Denver leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher J.P. McNealy and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 12th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Glaciers ahead, 4-1.
